Activities by Åre Nature Adventures is best experienced in small groups, with high personal service and with high flexibility (we rarely take more than 8 people on a tour). Private tour - Activity description:

Paddling canoe is one of the best ways to experience the Swedish nature up close. We calmly floating and paddle downstream on the clear water while we are exploring the river with forest covered shorelines and mountains in the background. The area is known for its rich birdlife if we are lucky, we may see some of the rare birds or other animals like beaver, rising fish and reindeer.

During the tour we stop to go ashore and make lunch over the open fire. With ingredients which as inspiration from the area we are in. If the weather is warm, maybe you feel like it's time for a swim. 

The canoes we use are Canadian canoes. Both paddling the canoe (front and back) needs to be over 12 years, one of them above 15 years.

We provide life jackets for you. See further down what you need to bring.

What will I experience?

We pick you up before the activity at the pick up point you choose.

By our minibus, transfer is included.

Any minimum age?

5 years (12 years to sit with a paddle).

What do I have to bring?

All personal equipment packed in a backpack. 

·    Extra jacket to keep you warm

·    Clothing for rainy weather

·    Whole extra set of clothing packed in a plastic bag

·   Hiking boots/ Shoes what can risk get wet

·   Water bottle

·  Swimwear and towel if you wanna swim

·  Sunglasses + sun protection factor
