Private tour - Activity description:

Meet us down by the shoreline in Åre village and join us for a guided fishing tour on lake Åresjön. With amazing views in every direction, we glide around on the clear water while our guide steers to the best spots for fishing trout and artic char. Local knowledge of the best places and lures for the season ensures you will have the best chances to feel the excitement of a strong bite on your rod.

Along the tour we stop to go ashore to have fika. This gives you the opportunity to do some fishing along the shoreline while the guide prepares some fika over the open fire. Then we are back to base we help you to prepare the catch on our smoker if you like, hopefully you will bring a new-smoked trout home for dinner.

The activity contains one boat + guide, where you could be 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids. No previous experience is needed, and all equipment is included. (No fish is guaranteed, but most often we have fish in the boat on our tours).

A guided fishing trip with a good chance of catching fish because of good guidance. Fika over open fire together with amazing views.

By car, taxi, foot, (800m from Åre square)

How long will it take?

3h hours and about 30 min to smoke the fish.

From around 4-5 years

What do I have to bring?

Clothes for the current weather, warm wind/waterproof clothing, and a water bottle.

Is there other things I need to know?

Boat, life jacket, guide, complete fishing equipment, fishing license (valid for 24 hours), and help with the cleansing and smoking of any catch is included.
